I am extremely curious to hear about everyone's reaction to the most recent film that has sparked this website. How does it compare to the other Lord of the Rings movies that Peter Jackson created, so on and so forth. Did it end the way you expected it to? Favorite parts, the works!

Well apart from Azgog being killed in the battle at Moria, thus prohibiting him from chasing the dwarves around everywhere, it was good

Well, considering I want to see it a million more times, overall it was amazing. I thought it dragged on a little while they were in Moria and right afterwards, but I feel like that's to expected in a film about someones journey somewhere. I LOVED the beginning how they led into where the other one started and gave the back story of Erebor. And the dwarves were just fun (Kili = so damn sexy). I felt like this one was a lot funnier than the others, which...I liked and didn't like at the same time. Kinda hard to explain though.
Oh yeah, and the score is badass. :)

I agree with everything said above. My favorite part in the entire movie was the Riddles in the Dark section. It was almost perfect and right out of the book. It was fantastic all around and just showed how perfect Martin Freeman was for Bilbo. He did absolutely FANTASTIC. He was everything i pictured a Bilbo to be and portrayed it perfectly. If they made any mistake i think it was with Frodo. The scene and having him was excellent except Elijah Wood looked older and over acted his lines heavily. The pale orc actually was killed by Thorin in the battle at the gates of Moria, so the fact that Azog is chasing them around is a little off but i understand it and it doesn't really change the story at all because they did get attacked by wargs in the book, and were cornered in trees by them and so on and so forth so i am good with it, every movie has to have a evil character.
Next movie; Beron! Yes. Can not freaking wait, except, i actually can't wait till the third movie, careful here, spoiler, where he DESTROYS!!! the orcs like they are nothing. That, that will be extremely epic i have to say...

I absolutely loved this movie! I'm not sure if I liked it so much because it was good, or because I'm extremely attracted to Martin Freeman. Either way, I can't wait for the next movie! And, I hope not to offend anyone, but I sort of like the Hobbit book better than the Lord of the Rings books. The movies, although, I cannot choose between. Still, I enjoyed the Hobbit movie a lot.
