O.O!!!
OMG. *tackles* You are my new best friend! There are so many things we share in common. I too am a Trekkie and a Whovian, I also like Downtown Abbey, but I must say: I've *seen North & South on Netflix and debated watching it, is is good I wonder?
Welcome to True LotR, I'm Hades. I'm sure we will all be willing to help you expand your writing and, with tons of people with great writing experience, you'll pick up on a few things. ;D
*gives you a Bofur Ice Cream Bar, they are non fat-ning and you can eat as many as you like!*

AAAHHH hi there! And it's always fantastic to meet fellow Trekkies and Whovians! Well, I enjoyed North & South, it was a wee bit on the short side (only 4 hours in total), and the pacing is bit fast, but other than that worth watching I think. I think I'll read the book next, just for the sake of comparison...
Excellent to hear, and I'm thrilled to meet you! Any help you or others can provide is most welcome as I am always seeking new ways to better myself as far as writing goes. Right now I think I tend to skip and go directly to the point rather than dance around it a bit, build up the scene y'know? I believe this will turn out to be a most interesting experience, as I have never RP'd on such a scale before.
*gladly accepts* Thank you~ :3

Ah, haha. I will have to check it out then! Though I don't think reading the book will do me any good. xD
Once you get the hang of adding scenery and expressing your characters thoughts and reflections your posts will lengthen and you'll feel better about yourself. lol. But talking about the scenery is what will really make a post longer.
of course who am I say? I've been doing it for, like... forever... that is my writing style, I love to talk about nature and my character (Dénor's Ego for example, and how it differs from that of Ginger). It is a bit of a struggle at first because you're like: "... ugh, do I have to!?" once you pass that thresh hold it opens a new door.
You're most welcome! ^^b

OuO Alrighty ^^ If/when you do watch it, lemme know what you think of it Ha! Good to know! One of my former English teachers described the process as going through all the senses, what does the character see, hear, smell, etc around him/her, then putting that to words. I know it'll be a bit of a struggle at first. Sometimes when I go back and read what I've written I tend to remove all "obvious" bits, now looking back those are the fleshy bits, the ones that give writing its substance. I guess I'll just have to give it some time... Anyways, thank you for your advice ^^

I just have to high five you just for liking Downton Abbey alone! Your so cool! Finally another fellow fan! Not to mention a Whovian and of course a Ringer! Game of Thrones is pretty awesome too. Its need that your into fashion. I guess sewing would come really handy when cosplaying. Me on the other hand does not sew, which makes cosplaying really difficult.
I`m Fox by the way, but sometimes in the C-Box i go as Sinead. I hope to rp with you very soon!

Hi there, and yeah knowing a thing or two about sewing does help. Although I've been into cosplay for years before trying to teach myself proper technique and all that. Being in this school has opened my eyes to so many mistakes I've made, and while fashion is really not my area of interest, cosplay is, so anything to improve on that area can only be good Major kudos to you for being a fellow fan! I'd love to RP as soon as I possibly can, right now I'm a bit iffy on the subject considering the recent uproar (not to mention my app is still 'pending') :l I'll most likely set up an OC in case my app goes unapproved, just in case... I'd hate to miss out on an opportunity like this to RP with such awesome people. Hey Zilla! Glad to see you making an intro post! ;D Yay for Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, Tumblr, Harry Potter, musicals, Doctor Who, Whose Line is it Anyway? and Star Wars! You've got good taste in fandoms, my friend. Hey there, Puck! Bout time, yes? ;D *flailing* thank you, my friend! Sounds to me like you too have exquisite taste!

Oh boy! I didn't even see this until now! Well, first off, it's very nice to see Nori's beautiful Klepto face on here. Secondly, oh my goodness! Harry Potter, Criminal Minds, Whose Line is it, Downton Abbey, and Sherlock Holmes? (Not to mention your other epic fandoms!) This is going to be wonderful--we have much to chat about! ^^ (Who is your favorite on Whose Line, can I ask? Have you seen the American version as well?) Also, I would love to see some of your action-packed writing! I always find that the most difficult to write, so it would great to see work from someone who can do it well! Anyway, more importantly, welcome! And it's very nice to meet you! P.S. Several members on here, including myself, were talking about a certain awesome epic once-in-a-lifetime future plan for all of us that would include cosplaying...That's all I'll say for now!

Several members on here, including myself, were talking about a certain awesome epic once-in-a-lifetime future plan for all of us that would include cosplaying...That's all I'll say for now! Oh wow, where to start! From Whose Line I've watched the UK and US versions and, the Finnish version as well (which is just... well, let's not go there). Colin and Ryan are definitely my favorites, I mean the two have such a strong brotp going on it's insane; Brad and Greg are amazing, and Wayne, Chip and Jeff have incredible voices in my opinion. In short they are all incredibly talented, I know some are re-takes but such fast-pace impro is always impressive (especially the songs! OuO). Have you by any chance watched Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza? That too is absolutely hilarious! You flatter me XD In the past I had one RP simply just fighting from post to post, a duel. It was an interesting experience, working with sentence structures and word choices to make it sound intense... it's not the easiest thing in the world, but definitely fun ^^ We should RP at some point, definitely! And although I didn't mention it in my OP, I have some of my previous RPs on my blog in Tumblr. All that said, thank you and 'tis a pleasure to make your acquaintance! Oh what's this? OuO My first thought was that we'd all meet up somewhere cosplaying as our muses and then we'd do some larping. Ohoho, now that sounds like fun XD Even better considering I'm planning to make several cosplays from The Hobbit and I've already started on one But do tell, you've piqued my interest ;D

Hiya!
I must say I'm excited to see you here! Nori is my favourite dwarf and I can't wait to see what you'll get him into. (No pressure, though!)
This is my first online RPG and so I've been keeping a low profile because I haven't yet figured out what's going on and how to proceed. So it's nice to know I have someone else to work it out with!
And Downton Abbey is awesome. As is Star Trek (I'm an Original Series and TNG girl). Also, look up "Colin and Ryan Backstreet Boys" from Whose Line. It's my favourite moment and I never, ever get tired of watching it.
So nice to meet you, and I can't wait to start!

It's my favourite moment and I never, ever get tired of watching it. So nice to meet you, and I can't wait to start! OuO What a coincidence, because I was originally going to apply as Bifur! Then changed my mind to Nori who is one of my favorites as well. At the time I thought it'd be easier as Nori since I figured Bifur would need either a Bofur or Bombur around. So Major kudos to you and your excellent taste! No pressure, eh? Okay, I'll take it easy, considering like you this is my first ever RPG and yes, I'm still trying figure out what is going on ;A; I'm glad I'm not the only newbie around, since like you I tend to keep a low profile. Ah, excellent! I've watched TOS and TNG, although I slightly prefer the latter (although both are good). As for WLIIA to me there are too many moments I'd consider favourite, but the Backstreet Boys one is definitely one of the best! Do you have a favourite game in WLIIA? For instance, I like Scenes From a Hat, Questionable Impressions, Let's Make a Date and Film Dub. 'Tis wonderful to meet you as well! Now if only my app would get approved, I could actually start... although seeing as there is so much going on that might take some time >_>
