This is a simple game which I'm sure most of you will have played before. You simply link to a YouTube video of what you're listening to or, if you prefer, you can just tell us. Either way, it's a fun ice-breaker and a way of getting to know everyone's musical tastes!
I saw Newton Faulkner perform in Belfast a couple of months ago, since then I have been absolutely in love with this song. <3

I listen to Pandora more than I do You-Tube videos because it is easier than having to hit repeat. lol.
BUT AT THE MOMENT I am listening to Mariachi music! <3 I loooove Latin music though. (comes from living in Spain for the younger part of my life.) lol!

I don't tend to listen to music on YouTube either but the videos are just so easy to link to in threads like this. ^^ Living in Spain must have been amazing! How long were you there for?
Currently listening to Lisa Hannigan, 'What'll I Do':

I lived in Spain for 2 1/2 years before moving to America. My mom wishes we could have stayed longer so that we might have traveled to more than Germany, she really wanted to see England and I really wanted to see Ireland... which I hope to be visiting in the far future!
I'm currently listening to my favorite comedians Abbot and Costello! <3

Someone just shared this rather wonderful orchestral rendition of the Misty Mountains theme, and I keep on hitting the replay button for it. Absolutely gorgeous! That's here~And the Piano Guys have a great Lord of the Rings medley that I heard recently, too. That one's here~ (^-^) Of course, can't get enough of the new Hobbit score either! The Lisa Hannigan song, "What I'll Do," is very pretty! ^^

Oh I love them both, Pumpkin! They'll be good to play while I'm writing posts. ^^
Another one I've seen live, she sang at a music festival in Dunfanaghy last summer. <3

Well, as of late, I have been listening to a lot of Lord of the Rings/Hobbit based songs. For example, I have listened to Lindsey Stirling's (Yes, my Face Claim XD), Lord of the Rings Medley. I have also been listening to the Hobbit soundtrack, which is basically just a bunch of different Hobbit songs on YouTube. Aside from that, a lot of PianoGuys' songs have come up for me. Even though most of them aren't LotR or Hobbit themed, I still like hearing their stuff.

Those are all fantastic! Cass, "Pebbles" is just stunning! Is Morgan MacIntyre an independent singer or part of a label? I wish her well--she's got a gorgeous voice!
And Emie, have you seen Lindsey's "Legend of Zelda" cover? She's all-around fantastic!! (^-^)v
You know, you guys reminded me of this Hobbit parody:
It always gets me enthusiastic to do something fun after watching/hearing it. So VERY well done! xD

All wonderful song choices! I've always been a pretty big fan of Lindsey Stirling, but I never heard Morgan MacIntyre before--what a voice! (And of course I love The Hillywood Show's parody. XDDD They're some talented girls!) I want to share a song that I found two years ago, during somewhat of a low period for me. (I hope the name doesn't sound conceited given who I'm playing. ) But truthfully, it's a really beautiful song! I almost wish it had been used in the LotR/Hobbit movies!

I'm loving all these Hobbit/Lord of the Rings themed songs. ^^ Pumpkin, that Hillywood video is absolutely hilarious! They clearly put in loads of effort and really pulled it off, it was fantastic and it made my day. Thanks for sharing. Morgan MacIntyre is unsigned and currently frequents pubs and other venues around Belfast. I was delighted to discover her songs can be bought and downloaded on bandcamp.com, I will be buying them all! Today was a day of study, a day of coursework, and that means one thing - Enya! X]

Haha! Pumpkin, at first I was like: Whaaa? Then I had to laugh because, you know, it is true! XD The only part I truly laughed at was the 'Frodo's Pizza' or something like that... and the after math of everything that happened. lol.
I was looking for In the Dark of the Night sped up version, but none of them were the same as when I first found it... I was sad. Sorry to pull away from all the LotR/Hobbit stuff for a second! but I thought this was funny... xD

Heh heh, I'm glad it gave you guys a laugh. They're pretty talented, the Hillywood group! ^^ Especially in the way of costumes and make-up! Hades, that last one...just...hahaha. That was so unexpected but so very very worth it. xD

I'm glad I can bring the unexpected. XD I will do it more often if it gets me a laugh or two. But now for something a little more serious...
I cannot express how much I love this piece from The Fellowship. <3 I listen to it (for it is winter, ya know) and I can't help but think of all those times I have played this in the summer! The windows open, a nice warm breeze, the sky is just the right color... not to mention that my walls are that shade of green (you know, that one that makes you feel good, even if you don't particularly like green)... *peace*
even though... it is still a slightly sad/hopeful song. :3

I love them Hades! Both the more comical one and the more serious. 'The Breaking of the Fellowship' always tugs on my heartstrings, it's a beautiful piece. <3
Time for some serious feel-good 80s cheese methinks, to get me through this dreary, grey and bitterly cold Thursday.
