This was the way that it was for thousands of years. The humans had the run of the world to advance scientifically, and the vampires fed on them, their unsuspecting victims. The vampires learned to not take too much, or the humans became suspicious and hunted them down. The dragons slept in their sacred places, hidden from the world, and the elves and fae used their magic to remain hidden and punish those humans that dared harm nature. But change is in the air...
Something is happening. The wind seems to be bringing a disturbing feeling with it these days. The disturbance is waking the dragons, and causing the elves to chance coming out of hiding more and more frequently, and it has made even the vampires more fearful and aggressive. Humans, of course, choose to ignore this feeling, because they cannot understand it, and go on with their lives. But something is thriving on all of this unrest... An unknown people have surfaced... They are unknown to the world as of yet, except by the name of Fear.
Their stories are written in blood...
